Dr. Riam Mohammed Dawood, Lecturer in the Department of Kindergarten at the College of Education for Women, University of Baghdad, took part in the Second Scientific Conference on Educational Humanities, entitled “Artificial Intelligence in Education: Present Challenges and Future Prospects.” The conference was hosted by the College of Education at Al-Mustansiriya University, with the participation of a distinguished group of academics, researchers, and specialists.

Dr. Dawood presented her research paper titled “Digital Competencies among Kindergarten Teachers,” which addressed the importance of developing digital skills for kindergarten teachers in line with the requirements of the digital age, thereby contributing to the enhancement of educational quality at this critical stage.

Her study recommended the design of specialized training programs aimed at improving teachers’ digital competencies, as well as the development of guidance programs and psycho-educational workshops to help teachers cultivate and strengthen their digital skills. These measures would enhance their ability to achieve educational and pedagogical objectives effectively and efficiently.

This activity contributes to achieving Sustainable Development Goals, specifically Goal 4 (Quality education) and Goal 17 (Partnerships for the goals).
