Dr. Fadel Al-Saadi, Director of the Center for Educational and Psychological Research, received a delegation from the Family Guidance Center affiliated with the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein. The visit sought to strengthen channels of cooperation, foster community engagement, and promote a culture of humanitarian work within the academic environment.

The program included an introductory lecture delivered by Professor Hujjah Hanaa Al-Taie, Director of the Family Guidance Center, who highlighted the center’s key activities and its awareness and counseling programs that contribute to supporting families and society.

At the conclusion of the visit, Dr. Al-Saadi emphasized the importance of such awareness initiatives in instilling humanitarian values among students and staff, praising the pioneering role of family guidance centers in serving the community and reinforcing family stability.

The visit concluded with a communal breakfast marking the birth anniversary of Lady Fatima Al-Ma’souma, daughter of Imam Musa Al-Kadhim (peace be upon them), in an atmosphere of warmth and fellowship.

This initiative reflects the University’s commitment to advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 17, which calls for strengthening community partnerships and promoting humanitarian awareness.
