Italian Language Students at College of Languages Successfully Complete Placement Test at University of Perugia

Students from the Italian Language Department at the College of Languages, University of Baghdad, have undertaken the placement test at the University of Perugia for Foreigners, as part of their scholarship program to participate in an intensive Italian language and culture course.

All students passed both the written exam and oral interview in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). Results classified six students at level B1, reflecting their linguistic competence after completing the third stage at the College of Languages. One outstanding student achieved level B2, demonstrating exceptional performance in both written and oral components under the supervision of the specialized examination committee.

The students have now begun attending lectures within the intensive Italian language and culture program, alongside peers from various countries worldwide. This three-month summer program is granted to Italian Department students under the scientific cooperation agreement with the University of Perugia and coordinated with the Italian Embassy.

This achievement contributes to the Sustainable Development Goals, specifically Goal 4 (Quality Education) and Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
