Al-Khwarizmi College of Engineering at the University of Baghdad signed a joint cooperation agreement with the College of Engineering at Al-Mustaqbal University, in the presence of the Dean of Al-Khwarizmi College of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Wadood Taher Mohammed, and with the participation of the Dean of the College of Engineering at Al-Mustaqbal University, Dr. Ali Shaker Majdi, as part of strengthening academic and scientific cooperation between the two institutions.
The agreement aims to broaden the prospects of scientific cooperation and the exchange of academic expertise, by developing study plans and course content, unifying curricula for corresponding specializations, exchanging books and scientific resources, and holding training workshops to develop the skills of faculty members and technicians in teaching methods. It also covers cooperation in summer training and in supervising the graduation projects of final-year students.
The agreement also provides for cooperation in the use of specialized laboratories and workshops for educational and research purposes, conducting joint scientific research and publishing in journals indexed in international databases, in addition to joint supervision and examination of postgraduate students, exchanging scientific visits for students, and organizing sports activities and other joint events.
This activity contributes to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, namely Goal 4, which calls for quality education, in addition to Goal 17, which relates to partnerships for the goals.
