As part of its summer training program designed to strengthen students’ technical skills, the College of Excellence at the University of Baghdad has inaugurated a specialized course titled “Developing and Publishing MiniApps on SuperQi”, in partnership with Qi Card (SuperQi), with active participation from selected students.
The program was delivered by Mr. Muammal Hamid, Head of the MiniApps Platform at Qi Card, who introduced students to the process of designing, developing, and publishing MiniApps on the SuperQi platform. The training provided hands-on experience in building modern digital solutions tailored to user needs, keeping pace with rapid advancements in the fintech sector.
Beyond technical exposure, the course aims to empower students to apply programming and development concepts within a professional environment, while familiarizing them with cutting-edge technologies in digital platform design. This initiative prepares qualified graduates capable of competing in the labor market and contributing to Iraq’s digital transformation.
Aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, the activity supports Goal 4 (Quality Education) and Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals), reinforcing the role of academia-industry collaboration in advancing educational and developmental priorities.
