The Graduate Studies Department at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Women, University of Baghdad, hosted engineers Hisham Muhannad and Hassan Amjad from Al-Haram Al-Rabi‘ Company for Information Technology to conduct a workshop for postgraduate students entitled “Mechanisms for Employing Artificial Intelligence (MIR) in Scientific Research.”
The workshop focused on training postgraduate students (Master’s and Doctoral) on how to harness intelligent software to reduce research time and to develop investigative capabilities through advanced programs, particularly in identifying similar studies and analyzing scientific references with utmost precision.
For her part, the Dean of the College, Dr. Fatima Abdul Malih, emphasized that this initiative comes in response to the requirements of the digital age, affirming that the college’s openness to technological institutions aims to equip female researchers with competitive skills that enhance the rigor of scientific research.
At the conclusion of the workshop, the College Administration expressed its gratitude and appreciation to the engineers of Al-Haram Al-Rabi‘ Company for their efforts in transferring this technological experience, noting that such cooperation represents a practical application of the Sustainable Development Goals, specifically Goal 4 (Quality Education) and Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals). This ensures the creation of an integrated educational environment that combines academic authenticity with digital modernity.
