The Department of Scholarships and Cultural Relations at the Presidency of the University of Baghdad organized an extensive meeting with international students enrolled at the University of Baghdad, within the framework of the “Study in Iraq” program. The meeting took place at the College of Media, chaired by Professor Dr. Enas Khalifa Al-Sharqi, Director of the Department of Scholarships and Cultural Relations, and attended by staff members of the Arab and Foreign Students Division.
The purpose of the meeting was to directly identify the main challenges faced by international students in their academic journey at the University, and to listen to their observations in order to address these challenges.
The meeting was also attended by representatives from the colleges responsible for international student affairs within their respective units. Discussions emphasized the importance of strengthening coordination between the University Presidency and the colleges concerned, as well as developing mechanisms for continuous monitoring and communication with students. These efforts aim to support the objectives of the “Study in Iraq” program by providing an attractive educational environment for students from diverse countries.
This activity contributes to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education) and Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
