Staff members of the Computer Center at the University of Baghdad celebrated Iraqi National Day, observed annually on October 3rd. The celebration was held in accordance with directives from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, encouraging festive activities that express patriotism and strengthen national belonging among members of educational institutions.

The event featured the ceremonial raising of the Iraqi flag. The Center’s Director emphasized the significance of this cherished occasion, noting that National Day symbolizes Iraq’s unity and rich history, and serves as a moment to honor past sacrifices and renew commitment to serving the nation and the academic institution.

Staff members exchanged congratulations, expressing pride in their Iraqi identity and reaffirming their dedication to elevating the university’s reputation through excellence in technical and administrative work.

This activity contributes to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal 16, which promotes peace, justice, and strong institutions.
