The Department of Plant Protection at the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences, University of Baghdad, organized a seminar titled “Artificial Intelligence Technology: Concepts and Challenges”, presented by Dr. Mustafa Redha Al-Najjar, a faculty member at the Middle Technical University in Baqubah.

The seminar aimed to provide a foundational understanding of artificial intelligence (AI), exploring its various types, applications, and associated challenges. It addressed ethical, social, and economic issues linked to AI technologies, and emphasized the critical role of data in training AI models. The discussion also covered challenges related to data collection, processing, and security.

This seminar contributes to the achievement of one of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals—Goal 4—which advocates for quality education.
