The Team of the University of Baghdad secured the second place in the Great Competition Championship focusing on historical and heritage information, organized by the Supervision and Evaluation Department at the Ministry of Higher Education, hosted by the University of Mosul.
Dr. Ali Sadiq, the Director of the Student Activities Department, affirmed that the University of Baghdad’s active and distinguished participation enabled them to achieve the second place among both government and private universities in the history and heritage category. The team from the University of Baghdad was honored with several awards in the national university championship, while the team from Al-Qadisiyah University claimed the first place.
In response, Prof.Dr. Bahaa Ibraheem, the President of the University of Baghdad, extended congratulations to the history and heritage team for their outstanding performance, which rightfully earned them top positions in the championship.
