As part of the University of Baghdad’s five-a-side football competition for faculty members, the team of the College of Education – Ibn Rushd for Human Sciences qualified for the final match of the Bab Al-Muadham complex after defeating the College of Administration and Economics team (5–4) in a penalty shootout.
The match witnessed an outstanding performance from both sides in an atmosphere marked by high sportsmanship and fair competition, reflecting the spirit of cooperation and camaraderie among faculty members. This contributed to strengthening human and social relations within the university community.
It is noteworthy that the Ibn Rushd team had previously defeated the College of Languages (4–0) and the College of Arts (3–0), thereby topping the Bab Al-Muadham group and securing a place in the final against the University Presidency team – Department of Student Activities.
This activity contributes to achieving Sustainable Development Goals, specifically Goal 3 (Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages) and Goal 17 (Partnerships for the goals).
