The Department of Animal Production at the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences, University of Baghdad, in collaboration with the Continuing Education Unit, organized a workshop titled “Community Destruction in a Drug Capsule.” The lecture was delivered by Dr. Asaad Khalaf Mohammed.

The workshop aimed to explore the reasons behind the spread of illicit drugs in Iraq, identify substances prone to addiction, and examine the role of sustainable development in combating this issue, particularly within the framework of achieving Sustainable Development Goals, the third goal Good Health and Well-being. The researcher emphasized the necessity of enacting legislation to prevent or limit the spread of illicit drugs without a medical prescription.
