The Central Scientific Promotions Committee held its eleventh session at the Presidency of the University of Baghdad today, Tuesday, 20/2/2024, in the presence of members of the Central Scientific Committee for Promotions, the Chairman of the Scientific Promotions Committee, Prof. Dr. Faiha Abdullah Yaqoub, and the official of the Scientific Promotions Division, Dr. Daylam Kazem Suhail.
A number of files were discussed for promotion to the rank of professor with thirteen files, the rank of assistant professor with fourteen files, and the rank of teacher with three files, as well as a number of issues and topics related to scientific promotions with twenty files for various disciplines.
The meeting stressed the importance of scrutinizing the evaluation of scientific promotion files and the need to adhere to the standards and conditions specified in the Scientific Promotion Law. The Chairman of the Committee thanked and appreciated the members of the Committee for their efforts in evaluating scientific promotion files accurately and objectively.
