In the presence of the Assistant Rector of the University of Baghdad for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Suhail Najm Abdullah, the Assistant Rector of the University of Baghdad for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Amir Faisal Abdul Amir, the Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, Dr. Sabah Qasim, and the Director of the Student Activities Department, Dr. Ali Sadiq, the final match between the team of the College of Arts and the College of Engineering took place at the University of Baghdad Stadium in the presence of a wide audience of students and fans.
The match ended with the victory of the College of Arts team with (7) goals to (6) goals for the College of Engineering team. The winning team was honored with the University of Baghdad Cup of five-a-side football. The assistant Rector of the University praised the role played by sports activities in reflecting the positive image of the university, wishing all participants continued success. These activities come within the directions of the University of Baghdad to invest students’ energies in various sports participation and activities.
