The President of the University of Baghdad, Prof.Dr. Bahaa Ibraheem Ansaf, inaugurated the exhibition documenting the crime of genocide organized by the Student Activities Department at Baghdad University. He was accompanied by Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Prof.Dr. Suhail Najm Abdullah, and under the supervision of Dr. Ali Sadiq, the Director of the Student Activities Department.
The exhibition depicted through its artistic works the crimes committed against the Yazidi community and other groups, including the killing of men, abduction of women and children, theft of public and private property, and the destruction of infrastructure. This crime bore witness to the acts of the terrorist organization. The exhibition also featured numerous artworks ranging from painting, sculpture, ceramics, and handicrafts created by students from various stages of the university.
In turn, Prof.Dr. Bahaa commended the efforts of the department director and the high artistic and creative level demonstrated in the works, despite their simplicity. He praised the students’ contributions, acknowledging the broad participation and attendance the exhibition received.
