Under the guidance of the President of the University of Baghdad, Prof.Dr. Bahaa Ibraheem Ansaf, more than 1200 female students from the University of Baghdad participated in the second Um Abiha Festival held at the Holy Kazimiyah Shrine. The event was attended by Prof.Dr. Suhail Najm Abdullah, Assistant President of the University of Baghdad for Scientific Affairs, and Dr. Ali Sadiq, Director of the Student Activities Department at the university.
This festival aimed to honor over 4000 university female students wearing the Zainabiya abaya. It coincided with the birth of the noble Prophet’s granddaughter, Lady Fatima Al-Zahraa (peace be upon her). As an initiative by the University of Baghdad, more than 1000 flowers and emblems bearing expressive words were distributed to the students on this occasion.
