The College of Administration and Economics organized a ceremony honoring the top students for the academic year 2023/2022 for all scientific departments, in the presence of the Assistant Rector for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Marwan Abdel Hamid Ashour, the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Sabah Manfi Reda, the assistants of the Dean of the College and heads of scientific departments.
The celebration began with the playing of the national anthem, then verses from the Holy Quran, followed by the reading of Surat Al-Fatihah on the souls of the martyrs of Iraq and the martyrs of beloved Palestine, after which the Assistant Rector of the University, Prof. Dr. Marwan Abdul Hamid Ashour, gave his speech, in which he expressed his joy with the distinguished students of the college honored by the university, as the University of Baghdad began to honor the first students within the requirements of international standards and to encourage the spirit of competition among students, wishing them continued success, as the university will proceed to honor distinguished professors for their global publishing in the coming days.
Then the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Sabah Manfi, gave his speech, in which he expressed his thanks to the Rectory of the University of Baghdad for this generous gesture, calling on students to make a lot of efforts to excel and succeed after years of effort and fatigue and work to change the images of life that we live and keep pace with the change in societies. Thereafter, the Assistant Rector of the University, the Dean of the College, and the heads of scientific departments took the podium to honor the first students.
