The College of Engineering, Department of Architectural Engineering, in collaboration with the Continuing Education Unit, organized a scientific workshop titled: “Utilizing Building Information Modeling in Sustainable Design”. The workshop included a review of the definition of sustainability, an explanation of its importance in the field of architecture, and a focus on the benefits of using Building Information Modeling (BIM) in achieving sustainability. Practical applications were presented to illustrate how BIM can be leveraged to achieve sustainability goals in design and construction projects.
