Under the auspices of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the University of Baghdad hosted a specialized training course for the application of the Bologna track in Iraqi universities, in which the trainer and international expert in the application of the Bologna track, Dr. “Burak”, lectured, in the presence of the general coordinator in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Uday Ali Ahmed, representing the ministry, and the Assistant Rector for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Marwan Abdul Hamid Ashour, and a number of those concerned with the application of the Bologna track in the faculties of science and engineering, including teachers and heads of departments in Public and private universities.

The course aimed to explain how countries are shifting from the system of units in universities to the application of the Bologna track in the higher education system and to show the benefits of applying this path, which has proven successful in multiple universities, especially Turkish universities, which followed this educational system. It is noteworthy that the course lasts three days, two days at the University of Baghdad and one day at Bilad Al- Rafidain University College.
