The Center for Urban and Regional Planning for Graduate Studies at the University of Baghdad held a panel discussion entitled “Entrepreneurial Cities Forum”. Experiences and dialogues in city planning), in conjunction with the Global Entrepreneurship Week, and with the participation of the Dean of the Center, Prof. Dr. Karim Hassan Aloun, as well as the Center’s teachers and students.

The seminar aimed to provide an interactive environment for intellectual exchange between academics and researchers and the sharing of ideas, thus providing suggestions for entrepreneurship and city planning to enhance cooperation, innovation and achieve goals, after defining entrepreneurial work and the requirements of scientific leadership in the higher education sector.

In the seminar, a number of research papers were presented that dealt with the concept of leadership in thought and application on the ground, and successful experiences, and they reflect the role of the center in equipping its students with pioneering qualities through theoretical and practical lessons delivered in multiple fields, such as economic, urban, geographical, spatial, social, surveying, and other magazines, and then linking them to city planning of all kinds (sustainable, smart, digital, health, environmental, safe and flexible), as it achieves community happiness and improves the quality of life to reach the best city and optimal life.
