The General Secretariat of the Central Library, under the direction of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, organized an awareness workshop against homosexuality. The workshop featured a lecture by international trainer Najlaa Tarek and attended by several members of the University of Baghdad. This is part of the library’s routine activities.
The event included discussing awareness topics related to the topic, focusing on basic points such as: What is sexual deviance (homosexuality)? Is homosexuality an acquired behavior or genetically inherited for us to control? How do we explain homosexuality? The media and the credibility of treating sexual deviance and the social factors affecting deviance.
