Under the slogan (Giving, Leadership and Excellence), the College of Medicine at the University of Baghdad held the first scientific conference on echocardiography in Iraq in collaboration with the College of Medicine at the University of Babylon and the Iraqi scientific societies. The event was attended by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for Scientific Affairs, Prof.Dr. Haider Abd Dhahd, the Rector of the University of Baghdad, Prof.Dr. Munir Hamid Al-Saadi, Dean of the College of Medicine at the University of Baghdad, Dr. Amin Al-Alwani, and a number of university presidents and deans of Iraqi medical colleges.
In a speech during the Conference, Dr. Amin Al-Alwani,” pointed it that the launch of the College of Medicine has commenced and will not stop until it achieves its high goals of creating an educational environment that suits the requirements and establishing partnerships with Iraqi and international universities and scientific societies to perform the tasks necessary for public health.”
It is noteworthy that the conference aims to achieve sustainable development and a better healthy future for all, and to facilitate educational opportunities, especially for postgraduate students, through free scientific lectures and workshops presented within the conference’s activities, in addition to the ultimate target of building a healthy life and fostering decent living in the service of the educational process and our country.
