The Rector of the University of Baghdad, Prof.Dr.Munir Al-Saadi, has received the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr.Naim Al-Aboudi, during his inspection visit to several infrastructure projects and classrooms at the University of Baghdad.
During the visit, Dr. Naim observed the progress of projects implementation and classrooms, considering the indicators of the need to expand the university’s capacity to accommodate the growing demand for higher education. He affirmed that the university is prepared to welcome the upcoming academic year 2023/2024.
His Excellency also added, “the modernization of university buildings and the completion of its projects comes in line with the requirements of a fundamental transformation in the educational and academic track through adoption of the Bologna track in engineering, and science disciplines in public and private universities.”
In turn, Al-Saadi provided detailed information about project timelines and the criteria for their completion, taking into account the federal state budget.
