At the University of Baghdad, a meeting was held between Prof.Dr.Munir Al-Saadi, the Rector of University of Baghdad and the Ambassador Hisham Al-Alawi, Deputy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, advisor Haider Najeh, Associate Dean of the Foreign Service Institute.
The ground-breaking meeting, discussed several hubs on possible fields of cooperation with the colleges concerned with the work of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Such as the Colleges of Political Science, Law, Languages and Mass Communication, In addition to the possibility of implementing and developing the curricula of diplomatic courses, as well as upgrading courses and researches for the employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
University of Baghdad signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Ministry of Foreign Affairs in aim to provide of the training and development programs, and benefit from the programs offered by the Center of Continuing Education at the University, providing opportunities for professors and students to view the work of the ministry. Moreover these meetings contribute to strengthening the relations between the University of Baghdad and the Ministries of the State in order to view about the experiences and work contexts in these ministries, and they are considered a training field for students and professors in our university.
