In honor of the British delegation including Professor Ian Gillespie, Chancellor of the University of Dundee, Mr. Jason Norris , Strategic Partnerships Manager in the University,the University of Baghdad has organized a Baghdad evening for the delegation from British University of Dundee, on the campus of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences in presence of Prof. Dr. Haider Abd Dhahd, Scientific Undersecretary of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Hazem Baqer, the director of the Scholarships and Cultural Relations Department in the Ministry, Prof.Dr.Munir Al-Saadi, the rector of the University of Baghdad, Prof.Dr. Ahmed Al-Ghabban, the Rector of the University of Technology and a number of University Presidents and Deans of Colleges in Iraq.
The evening included visual presentations of the university’s activities, and some valuable gifts were distributed to the guests by Prof.Dr.Munir Al-Saadi . In turn, the British delegation expressed their gratitude for the hospitality and reception, wishing continued scientific and academic communication between the University of Baghdad and the British University of Dundee to serve the educational process between the two friendly countries.
