On the occasion of the centenary of the pioneer of free poetry , Nazik Al-Malaika ,His Excellency the Prime Minister, Eng. Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani, praised the cultural and intellectual heritage of the College of Education Ibn Rushd at the University of Baghdad, in his excellency’s speech, saying:
“How beautiful it is to embrace the memory of our great poet with the centenary of the founding of the College of Education Ibn Rushd, this college, in which Nazik Al-Malaika graduated and embraced many of the makers of cultural and creative action in Iraq and provided Iraq with a lot of minds that established academic glory, whether in its old name Dar Al-Mualim Al-Ali, or in its current name, Ibn Rushd College of Education.”
The Deanship of the College expressed its gratitude to His Excellency the Prime Minister for this precious word, it was stressed that the rise of Ibn Rushd and its construction will remain a major priority, to continue to provide beloved Iraq with competencies and expertise that perpetuate the construction process scientifically and humanely.
