Under the slogan (Towards creative and innovative audio-visual media), the Mass Communication college at the University of Baghdad, in cooperation with the Media and Communications Authority, has held the 15th radio and television film festival at the Peace Theater hall in the college. The festival was attended by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Ammar Taher , the assistant dean for scientific affairs, heads of department and a large number of professors and students.
A lot of creative youth energies participated in this festival, under the supervision of media professors at the college, by offering a presentation of documentaries, which included (38) audio-visual works, investigative inquiry and a documentary film. The presentations submitted were evaluated by the committee consisting of members of the radio and television department of the college, where a number of works won in this competition.
This festival represents the diligence of media students and their professors in production and training through films that adequately express reality, and expresses the professors’ vision of that generation that will lead the media in the future.
