The College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Baghdad, has concluded the University of Baghdad Basketball Championship in the presence of the Rector of the University, Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid Al-Saadi, the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Sabah Qasim, the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Ali Sadiq, and the Director of Student Activities, Dr. Qais Qahtan.
The final match of the championship took place in the closed hall between the teams of the College of Engineering and the College of Fine Arts, and the match ended with a deserved victory for the College of Engineering with (60) points to (29) points for the College of Fine Arts.
At the end of the tournament, the Rector of the University awarded the winning team gold medals, praising the great role played by the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences in reflecting the positive image of the University of Baghdad and wishing all participants continuous and prosperous achievements
