In collaboration with French Cultural Attaché in Iraq, the University of Baghdad has held an educational workshop on study opportunities in French universities, and how to apply for postgraduate studies. The workshop was attended by Prof. Dr. Marwan Abdul Hameed Ashour, Assistant Rector for Scientific Affairs and the Director of the Scholarships and Cultural Relations Department, Assist.Prof.Dr. Difaf Ibrahim.
At the outset of the workshop, Mr. David Launsierre, the French cultural Attaché in Iraq welcomed the attendees, and then opened his speech by giving an introduction about French language with additional general information about France ,highlighting about the French-Iraqi program and the grants provided to the Iraqi government which were activated during the recent visit of Prime Minister Muhammad Shia’a al-Sudani to France .The workshop concluded with a discussion session with the attendees concerning the scholarships.
