The Rector of the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid Al-Saadi, has received a delegation from the British Council, headed by Mr. Scott McDonald who announced the launch of his initiative for the next generation – on a research study that addresses the convictions and visions of Iraqi youth across the country.

On the sidelines of the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to develop joint cooperation to improve the educational level in the country and how to benefit from the experiences of the British Council to develop the educational process, after launching their own initiative (Next Generation – Research Study). The Head of the British Council expressed his happiness to visit Baghdad for the first time and meet the President of the University, for his part, Al-Saadi stressed that there are joint programs that adopt modern scientific methods, as a specialized center will be opened in English language at the University of Baghdad in collaboration with one of the British institutions to provide consulting and experiences. The computer lab was also opened in the new hall of the College of Science for Women in the presence of a number of students and professors in the college.

 At the end of the meeting, Prof. Dr.Al-Saadi expressed his thanks and appreciation to the British Council and the members of the accompanying delegation for the efforts exerted in seeking and supporting the development of the educational process.
