The Rector of the University of Baghdad, Prof.Dr. Munir Al-Saadi has held a meeting with the Scientific Journals Committee. The meeting discussed the working on developing the Journal of the Departments of Chemical Engineering and Petroleum Engineering, as well as seeking to enroll the Journals into Scopus Encyclopedia by making sure of the researcher’s publishing ability , and this is done by ensuring that the scientific research or scientific paper or thesis are following and applying the general conditions of publication, to ensure the acceptance of the scientific research and choosing of the journal that suits it and knowing the conditions of publication. The committee also supervised that the journals follow the points which are required to be enrolled in Scopus.
