Prof.Dr. Ahmed Hassan, a professor in the department of Astronomy and Space science, college of science, university of Baghdad has been selected as an ambassador to German Academic Exchange Service in Iraq, and a representative of the universities of the central region (Baghdad), within the program of graduate ambassadors in Iraq.The program will facilitate the task of accepting Iraqi students who is willing to complete Postgraduate studies in German universities, as well as facilitating the task of “the visiting professor” for professors and researchers willing to obtain a research fellowship and a postdoctoral fellowship in Germany.
It is noteworthy that German Academic Exchange Service is presenting Scholarships for Students who want to start, or compete their studying in Germany, the scholarship is devoted to postgraduate studies since 1950. The organization (DAAD) also supported more than two million academic in Germany and all over the world, while twenty two who were graduated from (DAAD) gained the global Nobel Prize.
