The Department of Petroleum Engineering, College of Engineering, at the University of Baghdad ranked in the (100-51) place in the QS World Ranking of scientific disciplines, university of Baghdad has got first place among Iraqi universities. It is noteworthy, ranking is based on QS Global Academic Surveys, which are used to evaluate the achievement of international universities in each discipline, and impacting of research based on citations for each research paper and H index, obtained from Scopus database in Elsevier.
