Prof. Dr. Hazema Mousa Abbasi from department of Biology at the College of Education for Pure Sciences (Ibn al-Haitham), university of Baghdad has obtained a patent of the Central Organization for Standardization and Quality Control (COSQC ) entitled: ” using a new immunotechnologies diagnosing skin diseases”, it was accomplished within a research team.
The patent aimed to developing new immunotechnologies.It is new method through which is possible to diagnose skin disease quickly by kit consisting of antibodies attached to the fluorescein dye, which bind to the site of injury in the skin and shine when UV-light is shined on them, and it used in medical clinics for quick and accurate diagnosis. It is noteworthy; Prof. Dr. Hazema Mousa Abbasi has participated in the 13th International Inventions Exhibition organized by the Kuwait Scientific Club in Kuwait, ranked second out of 165 patents from different countries of the world.
