Prof. Dr. Munir Al- Saadi, the rector of the university of Baghdad has received in his office Her Excellency Ms. Paula Ganley, the Australian Ambassador to Iraq to discuss the prospects for joint cooperation between the two sides, where the rector gave an overview about the university’s academic and scientific achievements. They also addressed the procedures of academic cooperation in scientific fields including the student exchange program at the postgraduate level.
Prof. Dr. Munir Al- Saadi asserted the readiness of our university to provide scholarships to Australian Students, creating joint research activities of mutual interest as well as the possibility of establishing a joint center between the Australian universities and the University of Baghdad. He also invited the Australian ambassador to attend the Scientific Outputs Exhibition intended to be held under the slogan (Made in the University of Baghdad) next Wednesday.
