Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid al-Saadi, the rector of the University of Baghdad, has received an international delegation from the Times Higher Education World University Rankings (THE), represented by the head of the ranking for the Middle East, Mr. Nick Davis, accompanied by the dean of Higher Education and Emerging Technologies in the Queensland Government, Dr. Talal Yousef. The visit aimed at find out prospects of mutual development of scientific research and ways to improve the level of academic performance, as well as exchange scientific experiences between the two sides in order to enhance scientific research cooperation in various disciplines. Dr. Munir al-Saadi also indicated during his speech the importance of this visit which came within the program adopted by the ministry of higher education and scientific research to introduce the strengths and weaknesses of Iraqi universities in particular.
