The deanship of the Center for Urban and Regional Planning for Postgraduate Studies at the University of Baghdad has lately organized a meeting to discuss all the essential logistical and scientific preparations to participate in the exhibition of scientific products that is planned to be launched next March. The dean of the center, Prof. Dr. Karim Hassan Alwan, confirmed during his speech with the members of the committee in charge of on the quality of books and scientific products or inventions that would be presented in this event that will be held at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences in Jadriyah Colmplex, so as to reflect the scientific outputs and talents of faculty members and postgraduate students.
He added that a number of master’s, doctoral and higher diploma dissertations will be also submitted in the exhibition. It is noteworthy that the Center for Urban and Regional and Urban Planning has previously participated in various scientific exhibitions at the level of higher education in various Iraqi universities, in the fields of engineering, economics, sociology, geography and environment that may serve our community at the design, construction and urbanization levels.
