The University of Baghdad has recently hosted the activities of the fifth season of the Job Day Festival, in the presence of His Excellency the Prime Minister, the engineer Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani, the Governor of Baghdad, the engineer Muhammad Jaber al-Atta, the rector of the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid al-Saadi, as well as a number of state officials and public figures. This event, which was sponsored by the Governorate of Baghdad in cooperation with the Universities of Baghdad and Al-Mustansiriya, aimed to honor a group of distinguished and creative employees in state institutions with the Baghdad Award for Career Innovation.

It is noteworthy that His Excellency the Prime Minister honored a number of the professors of the University of Baghdad for their great efforts in the academic fields, confirming that the government has drawn an integrated approach to administrative reform in all state institutions so as to achieve its program and vision, represented by rationalizing the performance of institutions, getting rid of corruption, nepotism and routine. He pointed out that a loyal, careful, honest and efficient employee, whatever his title, is the main tool on which the government relies on for implementing its programs and reforms, and no program can be implemented without successful tools.
