The Department of Physics at the College of Education for Pure Sciences (Ibn Al-Haitham) at the University of Baghdad has organized its annual cultural festival, in cooperation with the Department of Youth Culture and Arts at the Ministry of Youth and Sports and in the presence of the dean of the college, Prof. Dr. Firas Abdul Hamid Abdul Latif. The festival included an exhibition of drawings and books in the participation of a large number of students of the department of physics, as well as the presentation of musical band of the Department of Youth Culture and Arts that added to the festival an atmosphere of beauty and enthusiasm. The festival aimed to encourage the artistic and cultural energies of young people so as encouraging them to opening horizons for cooperation with state institutions.
