The Department of Home Economics at the College of Education for Women, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit has organized a workshop entitled: “The Dangers of Wearing New Clothes”, delivered by the lecturer Shaima Khalil Fadil in the presence of a number of professors, employees and students. The workshop aimed to inform the audience about the diseases caused by wearing new clothes before washing them and how to educate people about protect themselves from the risks of new made textiles to reach at a set of recommendations, including staying away from trying clothes in the stores besides answering questions raised by the attendees.
