Seminar on the role of forensic archaeology in detecting organized terrorism and genocide

The Department of Archeology at the College of Arts has organized a seminar entitled (The Role of Forensic Archaeology in Uncovering Organized Terrorism and Genocide). The seminar aimed to explain the role of archeology and its link with other sciences, including forensic and criminal sciences, reducing violence and sowing the spirit of peace. On the other hand, the department of archeology organized a scientific visit for students of preliminary studies to the Iraqi Museum, in order to see the various antiquities displayed in the museum from prehistoric times to Islamic times to form a clear perception about the nature of these exhibits of antiquities, as well as getting knowledge of different historical times, method of manufacture, purpose and content.
