Under the supervision of the dean of the college of pharmacy, the Assist. Prof. Dr. Sarmad Hashim al-Khatib, the Continuing Education Unit held an in-person workshop entitled (The necessary steps to reduce the percentage of rejection of research submitted for publication) that was delivered by Dr. Ihab Mudhar Mikhail) from the Clinical Pharmacy Branch. The lecture included a discussion of the main reasons for rejecting research submitted to be published online in international journals and then identifying ways to reduce the percentage of rejection of research. One of the most important methods that have been referred to is the proper selection of the research topics, writing in a professional way through focusing on its methodology and the need to conduct a linguistic revision. Also the researchers should choose appropriate journals that match the scientific content.
