Prof. Dr. Hamid Ali Kazim, the dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Baghdad, accompanied by his assistant for scientific affairs and postgraduate studies, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Humaid al-Bayati, had paid a visit to the College of Veterinary Medicine at the Justus Liebig University Giessen in Germany, with the aim of concluding a joint cooperation agreement between the two sides with regard to the exchange of scientific and educational experiences and the development of human capabilities at the level of faculty members on one side, and students on the other, in addition to conducting joint research, participation in conferences, scientific seminars and mutual visits between the two sides. All such endeavor may contribute in organizing the rules of mutual understanding and scientific cooperation between the two universities. On the sidelines of the visit, the delegation made an inspection tour in the various departments of the college to keep abreast with the scientific devices there and the advanced technologies used in the field of veterinary medicine and modern methods of teaching. At the end of the visit, the two sides exchanged souvenirs.
