A group of the professors of the department of water resources engineering at the University of Baghdad, namely Prof. Dr. Basim Shaba Abd, the Lecturer Dr. Haider Qais Majeed and the Assist. Lecturer Ali Khairi Ibrahim, have published a joint research in an international journal listed within Scopus database, as part of the goals sought by the professors of the University of Baghdad in publishing scientific research internationally: (Countermeasure of Riverbanks Local Scour and Deposition Using Different Shapes of Multiple Groynes with Different Spacing) in the scientific journal (Mathematical Modelling of Engineering Problems – IIETA) journal (Q2) and (Impact Factor of 2.8).
