Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid al-Saadi, the rector of the University of Baghdad, has participated in his capacity as a representative of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the first international conference entitled (Sincerity of faith and good leadership of Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis and Qasem Soleimani: From birth to martyrdom), which was sponsored by the Popular Mobilization Commission in cooperation with the universities of Baghdad and Karbala and in the presence of a number of political and academic figures.
During his speech, the rector asserted that the cultural, intellectual and academic community bears a great responsibility in transferring the effects of the heroic epics written by the Iraqis, whether in the victorious Popular Mobilization Forces or the valiant security forces, indicating at the same time the role played by such conferences and other events to identify the necessary methodologies and plans to highlight the role of sacrifices and transfer their heroism and exploits to future generations. Dr. Munir al-Saadi also called for exerting maximum scientific, intellectual and research efforts to clarify the biography of great leaders, frame their lives and highlight their exploits and heroism in order to be a constant example for future generations on which the future of this nation is based.
