The College of Languages at the University of Baghdad has witnessed the discussion of a master’s thesis entitled (The use of English vocabulary belonging to the field of political activity in Russian and the characteristics of translation into Arabic) that was submitted by the researcher (Ahmed Zuhair Mahmoud Jihad).
The study aimed at reviewing the use of English vocabulary that belongs to the field of political activity in Russian and how can words be quoted and other grammatical aspects related to spelling, semantic and phonetic uses, which is a realistic indicator of the enormous impact of English as a universal language on other languages, including Russian. The researcher stated that the use of English vocabulary is the result of the need to name the new realities of the social and political life of Russia, which has gone through historical events that have overshadowed the political reality of the country.
