The College of Nursing at the University of Baghdad has lately participated in the Nineteenth Brothers Meeting Festival for various Hobbies and Crafts, which was held on the halls of the International Station of the Iraqi Railways in the Alawi region, under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities and with the participation of government figures, a number of colleges of the University of Baghdad, a constellation of university professors and students, civil society organizations with the participation of professors and students who got information on early detection of breast cancer through breast self-examination to raise awareness about this disease.

The lecturers also talked about the harms of drugs and their impact on human health by displaying health awareness posters printed with illustrative pictures that show the danger of this phenomenon, measuring vital signs such as arterial blood pressure and heart rate, blood sugar, the harms of smoking and diseases resulting from it, stomach ulcers, diabetes, slipped vertebrae, stroke and angina, bleeding and how to control bleeding, arterial hardening and arterial blood pressure and obesity.
