A number of master’s students of the Department of Architecture at the College of Engineering, has participated in a symposium entitled (Urban Iraq in the Twentieth Century: Diverse Perspectives) at the Iraqi House of Wisdom in Baghdad, in the presence of a large number of academics and students in the fields of architecture, urbanism, history, geography, anthropology, urban and urban planning, economics and archeology attended this conference. Many topics were discussed in this regard, which were concerned with highlighting the main points in the great changes that have occurred in Iraqi cities, as the city itself is complicated and of multiple scientific and human branches intersect such as culture, history, architecture, geography and sociology.
