Dr. Mervat Razzaq Wali, a lecturer from the college of engineering, has participated during an event sponsored by the ministry of transportation with a lecture on contracts entitled (The reality and challenges of PPP projects: Al-Faw Port as a case study) within the framework of fruitful cooperation between the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Ministry of Transportation in the field of developing the transport and investment sectors and benefiting from the accumulated experiences of professors and researchers. The seminar aims to focus first on raising awareness and awareness of the need for the private sector to participate as a partner in the process of economic development and financing infrastructure projects, as specified in the Private Sector Participation Law for the public has been included in the proposed draft laws to be included in the agenda of the upcoming House of Representatives.
