The University of Baghdad has exceeded the publication of (20,000) research papers in Scopus database as being the first Iraqi university at the present, followed by Al-Mustansiriya University with (7443) researches. It is noteworthy that the University of Baghdad was at the forefront of the Iraqi public and private universities in publishing studies in Scopus during 2022.
